Govt Post Graduate College Lakki Marwat

<p>&lt;p&gt;Government Post Graduate College is one of the oldest educational institutions in the province of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Pakistan which caters to the educational needs of the area for the last fifty years. This college was established in 1963 by the directives of the then Federal Minister of Interior- the Late Habib Ullah Khan Mina khel . Initially established as Intermediate College it was temporarily housed in the building of High School No: 2.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Professor Pir Akbar Shah was appointed its first Principal and officially opened by the then Director Education Colleges Mr. Abdul Hamid Butt. Later on, Municipal Committee Lakki Marwat transferred its in 1973 the college was upgraded to Degree level by the then Chief Minister Late Mualana Mufi Mehmood. In 1994 the Construction of building was completed and College shifted there in. In 1990 the local Member of Provincial Assembly the Late Anwar Kamal Khan Expanded the College by providing funds of Rs. 15 million. New Library Block and eastern Classroom Block was added out of this fund. The status of the College was upgraded into 2003 to the Post Graduate level.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Three departments of Master level Islamiyat, Statistics and Computer Science were approved for teaching. A new facility of four years Bachelor of Studies at BS programmers&amp;rsquo; was introduced in the College in 2010-11. Initially the subject of Chemistry was started and subsequently Political Science and Physics added too.&lt;/p&gt;</p>
