Education is a powerful catalyzing agent which provides intellectual, physical, ideological and moral training to individuals, so as to enable them to have full consciousness of their mission, of their purpose in life and equip them to achieve that purpose. It is an instrument for the spiritual development as well as the material fulfillment of human beings.

The Intermediate of Science (FSc. Pre-Medical) Programme aims to provide students with a multifaceted exposure and education to basic scientific inquiry field. After successfully completing the Programme students can further pursue their career in fields of Medicine, Physiotherapy Surgery, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Microbiology, Molecular Genetics, Cloning, Food Technology, Biochemistry, Environmental, Biology, DVM, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bacteriology, Embryology, and Petrifaction.

Program Objectives

The specific objectives of the programme are:

  • To provide a strong basis for higher scientific education
  • To prepare and give exposure to the students for their professional career in basic sciences
  • To provide a balanced science programme for those who could not continue their education in the formal system
  • To promote the student understanding of scientific concepts and terminologies
  • To develop the scientific attitude, interest, understanding, and experience in such a way that the learner’s desire is satisfied, prepare and develop the students for professional and technological pursuits.

Program Summary

Duration: This programme is comprised of two years. The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Malakand (BISE MKD) will conduct external examinations on completion of 1st Year and 2nd Year sessions.

Recognition: This programme is accredited by BISE Malakand and is fully recognized within Pakistan and abroad for further education and employment in the private and public sectors.

Intake: Students can avail the opportunity of a single intake each year after the Secondary School Examination Results; students who are waiting for their results cannot apply.

Class Timings: Classes are held from Monday to Saturday (6 days a week) between 08:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. to utilize best timings of at-least four hours daily.

Attendance: To remain as an active student of GC Wari (Dir Upper), 75% class attendance is compulsory at any time during the session.

Assessment: Students will be prepared for the final external board examination via regular class tests and three internal examinations.
