Introduction

In the name of ALLAH, the most beneficent and merciful, I am very thankful to ALLAH who gave me the power to speak. These moments are happy addition to the history of Govt. Post Graduate College Mardan (GPGCM)that spreads quality education to the public at a lowest possible cost. Government of Khyber Pukhtoon Khuwa(KPK) has always been kind enough to provide all enlightened guidance and academic support and encouragement.
Govt. Post Graduate College Mardan, as one of the most prestigious college of KPK has initiated the Bachelor of Studies (BS) program as per government policy in the subject of Physics in 2010-11 only. The following year in 2011-12, three more BS disciplines, English, Mathematics and Botany were introduced. In 2012-13 four more BS disciplines, Computer Science, Chemistry, Political Science and Economics were launched. This year i-e in 2013-14 two more BS disciplines Zoology and Statistics have been initiated on the persistent demand of students and parents and the community. Thus we have (Ten) BS disciplines at present in Govt. Post Graduate College Mardan, where hundreds of students are getting quality education under the guidance of very experienced and well educated professors.
Achievements speak its self. Proof of the success of BS Program and the commitment of the college administration and Professors is visible from the response of the students, their parents and the society. BSProgram is the need of the day which meets the challenges of modern scientific world.
I, being the Co-ordinator of BS program, appreciate the efforts made by the students of BS (Computer Science) 3rd Semester, for launching this Website which will make Govt. Post Graduate College, Mardan more popular in the educated circle and will provide information to the public about the college at their door step. I am sure that the students of BS program in Govt. Post Graduate College, Mardan will become the cream of society and serve the nation efficiently.
I also appreciate the endless efforts of the respected Principle Prof. Syed Fayaz Ali Shah, the honorable staff members, the students and all others in making possible the BS program successful in this college.
I pray to ALLAH Almighty for the success of BS program, the students of this college, the prosperity of the nation and Country.
