Govt Girls Degree College Rustam, Mardan

<p>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp; Govt. Girls Degree College Rustam, located in Rustam on main road, is easily accessible through public transport. The foundation stone for the college was laid by Haider Khan Hoti&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;in 2011. However the college was initiated in a portion of Govt.&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;Higher Secondary School Rustam temporarily. Since inception it has been providing and facilitating the female of Rustam with best possible education previously in the small building of seven rooms and now in a permanent&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;building which is spread over an area of 43 kanal with spacious class rooms, theatre rooms, laboratory, library, hall and hostel. Apart from the difficulties faced in furtherance of college the staff has left no stone unturned to facilitate the students and play a positive role in making their future brighter. The&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;main purpose of the institute is to provide higher educational opportunities to the women of Rustam and make them able to keep pace with others. The literacy and education rate was much lower for females in Rustam, like many villages of Pakistan, due to poverty and conservative traditions. Most of the parents under pressure of financial crises and old age traditions do not allow their girls to distant colleges&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;or for that matter stay in hostel. Govt. Girls Degree College&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;Rustam is thus, providing a huge educational opportunity&amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;to these underprivileged girls. &amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;nbsp;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</p>
