Department of Political Science
Message from HOD
Welcome to the Department of Political Science at Government Girls Post Graduate College No. 1, Abbottabad.
Our department is committed to nurturing informed, confident, and responsible young women who can critically engage with political ideas, institutions, and issues at local, national, and global levels. We strive to provide a dynamic academic environment where students are encouraged to question, analyze, and understand the complexities of governance, democracy, international relations, and public policy.
Through quality teaching, research opportunities, and co-curricular activities, we aim to equip our students with the skills and knowledge needed to become thoughtful leaders, civil servants, educators, and active citizens of Pakistan. Our focus remains on intellectual growth, character building, and preparing our graduates to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.
I welcome all students to explore the exciting world of political science and become a part of a tradition that values academic excellence and social responsibility.
